Hospitals, Health Departments Release Collective Community Health Needs Assessment

Franklin County HealthMap 2025, a report issued June 18, 2025 by the Central Ohio Hospital Council, Columbus Public Health and Franklin County Public Health, provides a comprehensive overview of our community’s health status and unmet health needs.

This joint effort is a continuing partnership between Franklin County’s four hospital systems and both local health departments. Dozens of community organizations provided guidance to the process by analyzing hundreds of health indicators and listening to feedback provided by Franklin County residents through a series of focus groups held last summer. HealthMap2025 serves as a guide to target and prioritize limited resources, a vehicle for strengthening community relationships, and a source of information that contributes to keeping people healthy.
